寓言一则

因为乙屡次干坏事，却从不承认，还要以自己一贯正确的面目示人。甲忍不住，出言尖锐，批评了乙。触到了乙的痛处，乙便暴跳如雷，决定给甲一点颜色瞧瞧，看谁还敢如此嚣张？

丙坚决支持乙，说因为是乙是老大，制裁甲是完全正确的，大家都要欢呼的。

丁感到疑惑：乙不是不久前刚刚信誓旦旦公开表明，愿意接受各种批评，保证不打棍子，不抓辫子么？难道忽然变卦，那不是骗人吗？

丙一本正经回应：很明显，甲是站在错误的立场上，恶意攻击老大乙。而批评必须是站在善意的立场上，以帮助的态度来进行的。

丁更疑惑了：立场是个什么东西？也太主观了吧？那么到底由谁来判断立场是错误还是正确？方法是善意还是恶意呢？好像没有确定的客观的标准呢！如果真要说立场，那么人人都可以不接受批评。因为被批评者尽可指责对方立场不对，态度恶劣，而宣布对方为坏人的。

这时来了一位老K，他以权威的语气，一言九鼎断言：乙是组织的老大，甲居然敢指出组织的错误，乙当然要根据组织的家法来处置甲了。那是组织内部的事情，外人不得干涉。

丁感叹道：你老人家真是“立场坚定，是非不分”的模范啊！

A Fable

B has done a lot of bad things, but he has never admitted his wrong doing. Instead he claims he is always right in everything. A has held his tongue for a long time. But finally he started to criticize B very sharply, which made B fly into rage and decided to punish A. How could A be so arrogant and defiant to me?

C firmly supported B, saying that since B is the head of the organization, he has the right to punish whoever he wants to. Everyone should cheer for that.

D was puzzled.Because B just said in public that he would welcome any criticism and never take revenge in any way. But now it seems that he was lying.

C thought seriously for a while, and saying that obviously A took a wrong standpoint and his attitude was malicious, which can never be accepted! If A really wanted to help B, he should change his evil standpoint and attitude first.

D was even more confused. What do you mean by standpoint? It is a thoroughly subjective matter. Who is qualified to judge what standpoint or attitude is good or evil? Is there any objective criteria or standard? If you insist on standpoint, nobody will be willing to accept criticism and admit his mistakes, and those who point out your mistakes will be regarded as evil men.

Then came Old K, who spoke in a most authoritative way and concluded: It’s no use quarreling like that. Since B is the head of the organization, and A dared to criticize the mistakes made by the organization, B has complete rights to punish A according to the strict rules of the organization. Those who are not in the organization should not interfere or object.

D sighed deeply. What a wonderful model Old K is! He is so firm in standpoint and has no idea of the difference of right from wrong.
